BRIEF: CREATING A TRAIL RUNNING LINE CONSISTING OF SHORT TIGHTS, SHORT SLEEVE SHIRT, TANK AND SS CROP WITH THE X-BIONIC DNA OF NEXT-TO-SKIN SWEAT MANAGEMENT FOR WOMEN AND MEN
- apparel design (2D sketch, techpacks, Clo3D)
- development (yarn sourcing, body mapping sweat zones)
- fit / pattern creation with in-house pattern maker
- quality control (washing tests, wearing tests, lab dip, size set check)
X-BIONIC XCEED RUN LINE WOMEN & MEN SS25
Mid-price seamless run line for men and women, developed across four silhouettes: running tights, short sleeve shirt, tank, and women’s crop.
The brief required integrating X-Bionic’s sweat management technology into a seamless construction at an accessible price point. Core to the development was the precise placement of push–pull yarn within mapped sweat zones — instructing the supplier on yarn specification, placement, and knit structure to actively transport moisture away from the skin. Getting this right at a mid-price tier required close supplier communication and iterative sampling to maintain the technology without cost inflation.
Pattern engineering was developed gender-specifically across all four silhouettes, with fit sessions and field testing to validate performance across the full range.
